Shara Peggrem BVetMed MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Shara qualified from The Royal Veterinary College, London, with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Following graduation, she travelled to Australia to undertake a rotating internship in surgery, medicine, anaesthesia and reproduction at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital, this is an extremely busy hospital with up to ten surgeries a day. There she got to further explore and develop an interest in equine reproduction and subsequently got a job at Twemlows Stud AI and ET Centre in Shropshire for the 2019 stud season, where she carried out embryo transfer, foaling and general breeding work. She was also responsible for the injuries and illnesses of all mares and foals (over 500!) which kept her very busy!
