Emergencies
We provide a 24/7 emergency service 365 days a year for all of our clients. We do not share our 'out of hours' service with any other practice, meaning you will always see a Rowe Equine vet at weekends or evenings More information on our Out of hours and Emergency Service |
Lameness
All of our vets our experienced at lameness examinations and can complete an initial lameness assessment at your yard. As part of these investigations we often carry out nerve / joint blocks, usually followed up with diagnostic imaging such as x-rays and ultrasound scans. These can often be be completed at your yard, however for more complicated cases one of our vets might suggest your horse is brought into the clinic using our purpose built lameness work up area and examination room. Gastroscopy and Endoscopy

Stud Medicine
We provide a wide range of services should you wish to breed from your mare and can provide advice and services in all breeding methods - whether that be natural covering or artificial insemination by fresh, chilled or frozen semen. More information on Reproduction |
Vettings
A pre-purchase examination (also known as a ‘vetting’) can help a potential purchaser determine, as far as is possible by clinical examination, whether a horse or pony is suitable for the intended use. Surgical Procedures
Procedures such as castrations, ophthalmic surgery, joint injections, kissing spine surgery and sarcoid treatment can be carried out at the clinic in a sterile environment.
