Nelson Rowe (Director) BVM&S CertEP MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon
Nelson qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh in 2003, from there he went to work for a practice in Somerset before taking an equine position at Rowe Veterinary Group and becoming a salaried partner in 2010.
2011 was a busy year, with Nelson being awarded the Royal College Certificate in Equine Practice and also seeing huge changes in the Rowe Veterinary Group leading to him and Massey taking on the equine element of the business and launching Rowe Equine.
Nelson’s natural ease around horses gives comfort to his patients and their owners, ensuring that he is very popular and well-respected in the area. He is a keen horseman, having turned his hand to most disciplines, from Pony Club Polo, eventing at novice level and riding his old horse Fred in the local point to point. Speed and adrenaline are a common factor in Nelson’s pastimes; he enjoys hunting and the occasional team chase, is an extremely accomplished racing driver, crewed in sail boat racing and hits the slopes on a snowboard; he also finds time to fit in the odd day shooting.
