Liz Elliott - Receptionist / Pharmacy
Liz has worked for Rowe Equine since it was founded in 2011, and worked with Nelson at Rowe Vet Group for many years before that. Liz is perfectly suited to her part time role as a Receptionist / Veterinary Technician, being friendly, organised and methodical. She deals with client enquiries and is a wizard in the pharmacy, keeping it in order and stocked with all of the medication and equipment our vets need. As she no longer has her own horse, she enjoys caring for our in-patients to get her "horsey fix".
What do you like most about working at Rowe Equine?
"I especially enjoy assisting the vets with equine eye surgeries, they are very intricate and require specialist aftercare."
What you do in your spare time?
"I particularly enjoy going to equine events and shows as a spectator and drinking champagne. I also enjoy a rum and coke on the beach in Barbados every March!"
Do you have any pets?
"I have two retired working retrievers, both are very large dogs!"
Who is your most memorable horse?
"My old horse Bert who was an ex-racehorse, together we won lots of cups and ribbons through the years. His most notable successes were competing in the National Side-saddle Championships, competing in the Championship at Moreton Show and winning Champion Retraining of Racehorses (ROR) award at Abbey Dressage."
