Emma Turner BVSc MRCVS– Veterinary Surgeon
Emma qualified from the University of Bristol and joined the Rowe Equine team in July 2020. She grew up in Mid Devon where she competed in all pony club events. Whilst at university she worked as a groom for a racing and showjumping yard.
Spare time/hobbies and interest?
"I enjoy running and have joined a local running club (Wotton Trotters) and try and run with them as much as I can when I am not working! I spend my weekends walking and since moving to Wotton I am enjoying exploring the area including visiting many of the local national trust properties!"
Do you have any pets?
"I don't have any pets at present. I grew up with a variety of pets at home and when I went to university my sister bought me a hamster for my birthday."
What to I most like about being a vet?
"I love the variety of the job and really enjoy meeting lots of different clients and finding out about their horses!"
What do you like most about working for Rowe?
"We have an amazing team of people!"
Most memorable horse.
"'Millie horse'- I am lucky that I'm only short so stayed on ponies! Millie was an incredible pony but was always referred to as 'Millie horse' so we didn't confuse her with my sister Millie."
