What are your hobbies and interests?
I used to compete in endurance riding and although I no longer compete I still enjoy attending the events in a veterinary capacity.
Do you have any pets?
I have a jack russell named Beatle, who comes to work with me! I also have two retired horses at home, named Eba and Rocky.
Who is your most memorable horse?
Of my own, I would say Eba - she's a very feisty little black arabian mare who I have now had for over 10 years. We both started competing in endurance together and made it to FEI 2* competitions (which is 120km in a day!)
What do you like most about being a vet?
I love being a part of the community and feeling like I am helping both horses and their owners as best I can. This is one of the reasons I like dentistry, as often we can make a horse more comfortable there and then!
