Laura Nelmes - Veterinary Technician
Laura joined Rowe Equine in April 2022. She adds even more horsey experience to our already highly knowledgeable team and has proven to have impressive horse handling skills and a natural horsemanship.
Laura has taken a key role in booking appointments and managing our equine eye clinic days, as well as dedicating her time around the clock to help our vets with sttud work during our busy summer season. As a keen rider, Laura has also thrown herself in to the big task of looking after the Rowe horses, so please say hello and give her a wave if you see her out and about!

What are your hobbies outside of work?
I like socialising in the local pubs with my other half Adam far too much, and going away to the coast as much as possible. I also love watching my daughter Annabel play football and taking her to pony club. Occasionally, I am allowed to steal my dads lovely mare Lily to go out hunting with her on her little horse Phoenix too.
What do you like most about working for Rowe?
The variety, no day is ever the same. I enjoy helping the vets on the road and exercising the hunters in between the office work. Obviously the great team too, I like to make sure we always have a giggle in between the busy madness!
Have you always worked with horses?
Yes. I worked as hunt groom for years and then worked in a breaking and training yard that also took a lot of veterinary rehab horses. I previously worked for another Equine vet practice and came to Rowe Equine in April 2022.
